Day 2-The Kingdom of the Netherlands, Volendam

Hmmm. so what's the weather like here in the Netherlands? Simply put, its like constantly being in an airconditioned room with the aircon blowing straight at your face at high speed constantly. BRRRR.

So here we go. adventures of ryan and jonny in netherlands part 2.

This morning my daddy took off to bring me to some ministry to resgister some stuff with i had on idea what i was doing there. weird. After that, we had another herring fish together. This puny fish which somes with pickles and onions cost like €2.50. THATS S$5! But it tastes oh so damn good! Whee.

After that, we went back home to pick Ryan up who was still sleeping his ass off. Then we set off to the postcard picture pretty town of Volendam. Words cannot describe how pretty this town is, but pictures can! but still, my photographic skill cannot do this town justice, so if you want the real stuff, come down yourself!

Did the usual touristy things: Pictures, food, trying out the local stuff. Yupps. This place almost killed me though. You'll find out why...

Ryan having a bad start to his morning.

Daddy met his friend...

Possibly my favourite stall. HERRING!

This is where my daddy works. Nice cozy place

Yes buddy... this bus.

VOLENDAM!!!!

Then the actual picture taking.

HELLO! IM A FISHER MAN!

Hello ducky!

And here's my dad poking into other people houses. Zhe ge hua hen mei!

Hello Seafood! This would later cause me loads of trouble though.

Seafood by the sea!

Errrrrrr...

Fields... Endless fields... while we're on the bus back to Amsterdam.

Ryan:"oh. HAHA."
Ouch. they put me on a drip. LONGGGGGGG needle. The only picture i could take before my camera died. damn. Good thing I bought travel Insurance though. Apparently the seafood i ate at Volendam caused this to happen. Hives, swelling face and asthma. Wheeze wheeze wheeze. You know, Ryan's an ass. When i was just starting to wheeze and stuff, all ryan could say was :" oh damn. now i have to listen to you wheeze to sleep."

I'm better now. Dont worry.=)

The Kingdom of the Netherlands- Day 1

Hello there! I sort of made a promise to myself to make an entry for everyday whenever possible. So here we go. Hope this lasts!
You'll realise most of the pictures are of ryan... well... mainly because i'm behind the camera?
Flight CX 716, Singapore to Hong kong.
2 hour transit. Got wireless and talked to a few people on msn. Got a meal at Burgerking to share!

And in all these cases Ryan refused to pose for any pictures. "I refuse to pose for any pictures until we get to europe." okay lor.

After that comes the painful part. 12 hour flight. CX 721, Hong Kong to Amsterdam.
Once we boarded, we sort of slept straight away. For about 8 hours. Fitful one. Woke up every 15 to 20 mins, then movied away the last 4 hours. Got held up at customs for awhile. Ryan cant pronounce daddy's place for shit. Had to step in. Daddy was waiting for us! His flat mate had a car to bring us home.

We went out right after we got to daddy's place. sort of couldn't wait to see the sights. The following pictures would explain itself.

In the car...
Train station...
Trouble with the machine... though it works the same damn way as in Singapore.

Arrived at Centraal Station, then wandered around amsterdam from there. Visited museums and other stuff. Walked alot. Aching legs.
I realised that you should view the pictures from bottom to top from here onwards. terrible formatting. heh.
