The Kingdom of the Netherlands- Day 1

Hello there! I sort of made a promise to myself to make an entry for everyday whenever possible. So here we go. Hope this lasts!
You'll realise most of the pictures are of ryan... well... mainly because i'm behind the camera?
Flight CX 716, Singapore to Hong kong.
2 hour transit. Got wireless and talked to a few people on msn. Got a meal at Burgerking to share!

And in all these cases Ryan refused to pose for any pictures. "I refuse to pose for any pictures until we get to europe." okay lor.

After that comes the painful part. 12 hour flight. CX 721, Hong Kong to Amsterdam.
Once we boarded, we sort of slept straight away. For about 8 hours. Fitful one. Woke up every 15 to 20 mins, then movied away the last 4 hours. Got held up at customs for awhile. Ryan cant pronounce daddy's place for shit. Had to step in. Daddy was waiting for us! His flat mate had a car to bring us home.

We went out right after we got to daddy's place. sort of couldn't wait to see the sights. The following pictures would explain itself.

In the car...
Train station...
Trouble with the machine... though it works the same damn way as in Singapore.

Arrived at Centraal Station, then wandered around amsterdam from there. Visited museums and other stuff. Walked alot. Aching legs.
I realised that you should view the pictures from bottom to top from here onwards. terrible formatting. heh.

I'VE GRADUATED!

Wow. 3 years just like that. its been. wow. F-A-N-TASTIC. Unbelievable.
Poly has been so wonderful. I haven't known such freedom, joy, enjoyment, pain, terror, busyness, stress, tiredness and whole loads of other emotions. It made secondary school like child's play. wait. it WAS child's play. I can tell you i've never regretted my decision to join a poly (not that i had a choice anyway). I'm glad i made the decision to appeal for SP instead of staying at NYP though i never would have known what could have had happened there. But given my friend's experience, not very positive stories.

There are a few i would like to thank for my three years in poly.
My mum- for nagging at me to appeal for SP
Alvin Tan- For dragging me to SP Primers. Without you, i would have had such joy
SP Primers- For all the fun, joy, skills, kinship and people i could have never met and placed them in my heart.
My project clique- For always enduring my tardiness in work and tolerating my nonsense and stuff like that.
My lecturers- For imparting their knowledge of course
God- For everything.

And of course those who have played a part of my life. No matter how big or how small. you know who you are. and you're appreciated.

Hey Apple!

Not that i'm complaining.

I've been meaning to type this out for awhile now.

Its funny, really, to look back about a month ago, that how something you've so desperately want, you said all those things, and now nothing is being done. Its becoming abit of a joke really. And I just simply cannot comprehend it. What are you trying to say? To show? To prove?

MOUSEHUNT!

How do you know when someone is addicted to a game?
Well, I don't know, but I'm sure I am. Heh. The signs? Here are a few.

1. I carry my laptop around to check on my progress.
2. I stay up till 3, 4 AM just for the game.
3. When I meet with some people, its the only thing we talk about.
4. When i talk to some of my friends, I constantly check my laptop.
5. I have a dedicated web browser for it.
6. Its the first thing I check when I switch on my laptop.
7. Even as I am typing this post, I am still checking it.
8. And the worse of all? I have to resort to begging my friends to lend me virtual Gold to purchase in game items. (some would know)

Well, at least my principles still stands. I refuse to pay actual money to buy virtual Gold. Cheers Philip Phua.

Anyway, HAPPY NEW YEAR FOLKS! This blog is getting a little dusty eh? Well, this post is a first step!
